Prepare for FlashVote Survey on City Recreation
During the 06 March 2025 Parks Board Meeting [1], the Board supported the next FlashVote Survey on the general recreation needs in the City of Willow Park.
First, make sure you are registered.
To register, just visit https://www.flashvote.com/willowparktx and complete the online, sign-up form with your address, gender, year of birth, and email address. You may change your contact preference and your FlashVote identity at any time.
Then start thinking about the general recreation services you and your family would like to see come to Willow Park.
Here are some of the ideas from the Parks Board:
• Pickle Ball Courts
• Tennis Courts
• Badminton Courts
• Sports Courts, ie court that can be used for several purposes.
• Soccer fields
• Soft/Hard ball fields
Here are some other questions to consider:
• Official or just practice fields and courts?
• Appointments, rentals, first-come-first-serve?
• How do you think the City should pay for these recreation services - tax dollars, donations, sponsorships, grants?
If you want to make sure your needs are addressed, contact the City of Willow Park, Parks and Recreation Director, Mandy McCarley.
