ALL Citizens of Willow Park need to apply for the Home Rule Charter Commission. Yes, ALL. And even if you are not chosen for the Commission, you need to attend all Charter Commission Meetings or at least pay attention to the new Home Rule Charter, because it gives the Citizens of Willow Park more power to control • how your tax dollars are spent and • how Willow Park will grow residentially and commercially and • how your infrastructure is planned, installed, and paid for.

This discussion is a follow-up to the request Mayor Teresa Palmer made in her first speech as mayor... The next steps for this process are to form the charter commission, which can be from 10-15 people, who will then begin holding public meetings to come up with the charter."
